Ivan Bursztyn is a postdoc researcher at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro - UFRJ COPPE/Production Engineering Program. He holds a DSc. in Production Engineering in the same university. His thesis development
included a project: a service/web platform to support community-based tourism initiatives in the Amazon, aimed at increase the tourism flow (commercialization). He has special interest on social innovation initiatives that deal with environmental issues, sustainable tourism and social development.
