Occupation of the PadelaiI Building
The Movement of Occupants and Tenants (MOI in it spanish initials) is a territorial, social, political movement, which fight for housing and the right to the city. The MOI born of the massive occupation of buildings in Buenos Aires within the 1980s and the 1990s.

This CTP addresses the formal creation in 1991 of the MOI. In the 1990s, the cooperatives developed the MOI experience which, together with other organizations in the Buenos Aires city, claimed the right to the city and housing.

This CTP addresses the enactment of the Law 341 of co-operative housing. The law was the result of design and political negotiation by the Movement of occupants and tenants in the City of Buenos Aires.

This CTP focuses on the eviction of the PADELAI Building (first co-housing experience driven by the MOI) in February 2003 after 19 years of occupation. This fact was considered as an important fact since it allowed to recover some autonomy face the State.
