The "Convivium Slow Food Araba-Vitoria" (founded in 2005) is based in Vitoria, in the province of Araba, (Basque Country, Spain). This local initiative, with its 300 members, develops intense activity in the province where is based, organizing more than 70 events per year. The president of Slow Food Araba-Vitoria, Alberto López, is a member of the International Board of the Slow Food Association and he represents since 2012. both the Spanish and Portuguese convivia.
Organisation of the I Cultural days in defence of food and gastronomic heritage
The local convivium Slow Food Araba Vitoria establish and agreement with a children public school in Vitoria to create a edible school garden where students, teachers and slow food volunteers grow and cook vegetables and fruits.
